The entire phenomenological mass of the thing — the warmth, the indifference, the ancient Egyptian divinity, the YouTube-infinite cuteness, the autonomous force field that makes it sit on your keyboard at the exact moment you have a deadline. That specific, irreducible, non-fungible catness.

The concept of Translational Entropy (TE) formalizes this murder. Every transition between abstraction layers — from natural language to code, from code to machine instruction, from instruction to electron state — results in systematic, irreversible semantic loss. We quantify it. We grieve it.
